Doors open to the public for Morning Session at 7:00 AM for 8:00 AM Start, DAILY. Sessions expected to run past 10PM.
MEDIA PRE-SET 6:00AM for all TV running cables for Live Broadcasts ANYTIME during each day. If you are covering a Vote live and
it happens at 6PM, you still need to have your cables down by 6:00AM.
Media Availability – The BRAC Commission will hold a media availability, inside the ballroom at 5 PM every day during the deliberation session.
Logistical information for media:
-SAT truck parking on South Clark Street, immediately in front of the hotel
-65 foot camera throw
-TV Quality light and sound / Mult Box.
-600 foot cable run
Telephone service requests for the Hyatt Regency - please print and fill out this form and submit directly to the Hyatt
No press workroom – IMPORTANT to reserve hotel room ASAP. Block held for BRAC press at
the HYATT Regency; mention Commission if making reservations. SOLD OUT for Wednesday night.
Votes will run late each night. Internet is not provided at the HYATT but there are Wireless Hot Spots in the Hotel. There is Internet in
the hotel rooms but not the meeting rooms. Crystal City Marriott Courtyard is directly next door and Hilton Crystal City is 2 blocks away,
but all Crystal City hotels are selling out quickly.
